Privacy Policy for The Long Dunn Game

The Long Dunn Game (“the App,” “we,” “us”) is a family word game. This policy explains what information the App handles and how. We have tried to keep both the App and this policy as simple as possible.

Information we handle

The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, or location.

When you play a multiplayer game, the App stores the following in a cloud database (Google Firebase) so that players in the same game can see each other’s contributions:

• A display name you choose for the game (this can be a nickname).
• The answers you type during a round.
• Your scores for the game.
• A temporary game code that groups players in the same session.

That is the entirety of the information the App stores. We do not collect device identifiers for tracking, we do not serve advertising, and we do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.

How the information is used

The information above is used solely to run the game — to show answers and scores to the players in your session. It is not used for any other purpose.

Service providers

The App uses Google Firebase Realtime Database to store game data so players can play together. Google processes this data on our behalf as a hosting provider. See Google’s privacy information at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

The App also loads fonts and background music from third-party content networks (Google Fonts and Mixkit) when you use it. These providers may receive your device’s IP address as a normal part of delivering those files, as happens with any website.

Data retention

Game data is associated with a temporary game code and is kept only to operate the game. You may request deletion of game data at any time using the contact details below.

Children’s privacy

The App is a family game and is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect personal information beyond the chosen display name and in-game answers described above. If you believe a child has provided information you would like removed, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the effective date updated above.
